We put our nose out into the cold air, it felt nice.

What another great week. Sarah went live with the twitter account. Yippee. I may have got over excited, in the moments leading up to this, I definitely wasn't focusing on the task in hand, though I did make myself focus.

This week there were lots of chats — as usual, some were in the style of a meeting where we made decisions and some were just chats. One of note was a long meandering discussion for the beautiful and Lovely project. Lots that I’m still digesting from it.

Another great chat was with the folks at the Civil Service Leadership Academy with both Kajal and Sarah from the team. We took the tube as it was raining I had hoped to walk. Something struck with me about labels and judgment — I mean Louise mentioned it but I then woke up at 2:30am that evening/morning thinking about the phases of it — label, protect, judge and how they all interink. Thankfully I went back to sleep. Still it’s interesting on many levels, and relates to other chats I had. Something to look into further at some point.

I got the exciting news today that we have 65 Applications for the Cross Government Policy Advisor roles, and I’ll get them next week. Before we get to sifting on Thursday next week I need to rattle through all the different guidance documents. All I can think about is all the data.

Things for the Civil Service Group Awady seem to be ticking along James Arthur Cattell and I had a chat with Jack and Chloe about it on Friday. On Wednesday in between chats I managed to get the appointment out, which is great. Hopefully next week we nail venue and other things. Someone else has also kindly offered to help organise — which is wonderful.

March is turning out to have quite a few events or facilitation stuff in, lets just hope it all hangs together on the day. We are running a session at the Fast Stream Policy Base Camp I’m doing it with Kajal and so will be prepping next week. I was just thinking that I hadn’t spent much time with Kajal and now we’re doing all sorts of things together :)

Big toe notes

1) I can book meeting rooms :)

2) I’m a bit older :|

3) I have hot corners ;)
