Weeknotes 28 Jan
No weeknotes last week but GovCamp instead. So there is a lot of jumble of things. The first are a bunch of links that came up and I thought I’d be interested in… I haven’t read them yet.
Follow-the-money.pdf (carereview.scot)
Social Value Act: information and resources — GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Consequence Scanning — an agile practice for responsible innovators — doteveryone
I find GovCamp is a lot of that, things you didn't know you needed to know but you do. It always takes a while to sink and I’m tending this year to just let it do that not let my energy runaway with me.
Before and there was other stuff and after there was also other stuff. I have actually taken lots of notes over these last two weeks and I can put that mainly down to not liking the square lined notebook… I need free space.
Talking of free space I had a lovely chat with Stefan, I’ve really enjoyed the journey though I’m feeling quite intrepid at this point. I’m still not sure if I convey my context well enough, sometimes I feel like I’m hiding something and I’m not sure what that is but resolved to cast stones forwards.
Somethings I’ve found deeply frustrating this week and my bad internet was one of them… a job for tomorrow. Others I’m not quite sure how to address in the now though I know in time I will play my part in addressing them.
Lots of other thing the majority in fact have been uplifting and energising and I’ve really enjoyed all of those. Both informative and intriguing also spring to mind and I’ve still not looked up what Anticipatory Governance is yet.
So there is as every a growing backlog of things to do and as every it’s not just in one place. I’m thinking in one thing that is coming up in February that I’m going to scrap the backlog. There is something very liberating to start again, though it is never the reality does free the mind.
At our Wellbeing Day (yes we had another of those this week and we have a survey out to find out where we might take it in 2022) Janet mentioned a bout a comment here Friend had made. I loved it and so amended a GovCamp card.
