Lego {Some yellow and black in some radom shape with a 2X2 brick with Lego printed on it}

I’m not in a rhythm yet. This week we started home schooling, more precisely I started to get involved and to do some as Szu’s leave finished. So this meant I was much less time at the computer, and even when I was the internet might vanish or Eloise might pop-in. When I’m working later I when I remember I’m delay sending my emails till the next working day. Asynchronous working in a pandemic is a strange thing — our patterns are much less similar but our pain from the context from the current state of things provides more common ground.

Having Lego (inspired by one of sisters) on my desk is a great thing — when the internet goes I get to break it up and start again.

This week was the possibly penultimate but you never know organisers session for UK GovCamp it’s lovely to see how it’s all slotting together. I’m rather looking forward to it. Post our session I popped some thoughts together for people that have pitched, borrowing the last bit from our blogpost last year.

I have started to read through the Programmes People Strategy and IPA Review. I need to set some time aside to focus to read the People Strategy justice, I have just printed it, that way it can come by the fire.

On the IPA Review — it really points me towards something that I have mentioned before that I feel is missing/ something that I think I want to do. Earlier in the week I looked up the role that internal audit do — and between them I think they could cover the sort of assessment I’m thinking about or have in the back of my mind as in both cases it comes down to what they are contracted to do. I need to find someone in internal audit or the IPA to chat too, someone who would be willing to mull this over. Or I need to write that blogpost — and see who else would be interested in mulling it over.

On Monday I ordered my new work phone on Thursday it arrived. I was very please with the turn around and the fact that I don't have to turn on my laptop to find out if I have a meeting is great and I can also go for walking meetings much easier now. Something to look forward too next week

I accessed Qualtrics this week and added more people to the front of the Wellbeing Tracker survey so this is good to go which is great. It will be helpful at both the Programme level and team level.

Reading
Still reading ‘The Promise that changes Everything’ on page 164. Had a chat with Jason and Nour about it.
